Seahawks, Camels Play to Scoreless Draw

BUIES CREEK, North Carolina – The UNCW women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw at Campbell on Sunday afternoon at the Eakes Athletics Complex.

The Seahawks moved to 3-6-2 overall and 2-2-2 in the Coastal Athletic Association. The Camels now stand 2-5-5 overall with a 0-3-4 mark in the circuit. Both teams earned a point in the CAA standings with the tie.

UNCW held a 10-8 shot advantage in the contest and had five corner attempts.

Seahawks goalkeeper Hanna Wise collected her third shutout of the season. Both Wise and Campbell netminder JLo Varada recorded two saves.

UNCW returns to action on Thursday night when it hosts Stony Brook at 7 p.m. for the Seahawks' annual Pink Game.
