Fobes Continues To Lead UNCW At Lake Keowee

SUNSET, S.C. – Junior Mallory Fobes continued to pace UNCW with a four-over-par 76 score during the second round of the Clemson Invitational at The Reserve at Lake Keowee on Saturday.
 
Kentucky (297-296=593) holds a two-stroke lead over Michigan State entering the third round. Florida's Annabell Fuller and MSU's Brooke Biermann are perched atop the individual leaderboard with a 143 36-hole score.
 
Fobes is tied for 15th place with a five-over-par 149 36-hole score after the tournament's second day. The East Bend, N.C, product recorded four birdies in the second round.
 
The final round of the Clemson Invitational begins on Sunday, Mar. 27, with an 8:30 am shotgun start. Fobes, along with Deborah Spair and Phu Khine are competing as individuals.
