WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Visiting Florida Atlantic rallied from a 3-1 deficit to slip past UNCW, 4-3, in men's tennis action on Wednesday at the UNCW courts.

The Seahawks had a three-match winning streak snapped and stand 9-8 on the season. The Owls of Conference USA raised their record to 12-4 heading into the second of three matches on their spring break road trip north.

UNCW got off to a good start by capturing the doubles point when the No. 2 team of Davide Innocenti and Reece Falck edged FAU's Carles Sarrio and Hunter Robbins, 6-4.

The Seahawks, playing the final leg of a five-match homestand, increased their lead to 3-1 when freshman Trey Mallory cruised past FAU's Finn Stodder, 7-5, 6-2, before the Owls reeled off wins at No. 4, No. 3 and No. 2 singles to complete the comeback.
