GREENSBORO, Ga. – Senior
Phu Khine posted a 2-over-par 74 in the final round as UNCW completed play at Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational at the Great Waters Golf Course on Sunday afternoon.
The Seahawks carded a 312 team score in the final round to finish in 12th place in the three-day event. East Tennessee St. took the team title after authoring a 290 team score to finish ahead of host Mercer and last year's champion, North Florida.
Khine finished in a tie for 16th place with an 8-over-par tournament score (75-75-74=224) while junior
Mallory Fobes followed with a share of 30th place at 13-over par (76-74-79=229).
Freshman
Malu Brinker fired a 3-over-par 75 in the final round to close out the tournament in a tie for 47th place.
