GREENSBORO, Ga. – The UNCW women's golf team teed off its second spring tournament at the Great Waters Golf Course in the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational on Friday.
 
The Seahawks posted a 313 team score in the opening round. Colonial Athletic Association rival Delaware holds a two-stroke lead over East Tennessee St. and Chattanooga with a 7-over-par team score. 
 
Senior Phu Khine concluded the first round tied for 16th place with a +3 (75) score while junior Mallory Fobes finished locked in a tie for 28th place after carding a 4-over-par score.
 
The second round of the Lake Oconee Invitational continues Saturday morning with a 10 a.m. shotgun start.
