Talkin' To Takayo Kicks Off Monday

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – "Talkin' to Takayo," a one-hour, fan-friendly session featuring third-year UNCW men's basketball head coach Takayo Siddle, kicks off on Monday, Oct. 31, 2022, at Buffalo Wild Wings on Old Eastwood Road.

Monday marks the first of 12 in-season shows scheduled to take place from Noon-1 p.m. at the popular restaurant. Fans are welcome to attend, enjoy lunch and listen to Coach Siddle discuss current basketball topics, previous games and future opponents.
 
Siddle and host Mike Vaccaro will broadcast from the patio area. The show will also be streamed live on the UNCW Athletics Facebook page and aired each Monday at 7 p.m. on 95.9 FM The Breeze.
 
Audience members will have an opportunity to ask questions during the show. Viewers may also ask questions to Coach Siddle by tweeting Vaccaro at @RadioMikeV.
 
The Seahawks officially kick off the 2022-23 season on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2022, when they visit the Dean E. Smith Center in Chapel Hill to battle NCAA finalist North Carolina. Before that, UNCW will entertain NCAA Division II Emory & Henry in an exhibition contest on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022.
