WILMINGTON, N.C. - UNCW closed out its non-conference schedule on Saturday with a pair of losses to in-state rivals Campbell and UNCG at the UNCW Hampton Inn & Suites Landfall Classic at Trask Coliseum.

Campbell finished the tournament with a 3-0 mark to win the event. The Seahawks saw their record dip to 1-10.

Katie Lanz paced the UNCW lineup with 10 kills. Freshman
Quinn Manley posted a career-high 20 digs and finished with 46 total digs for the tournament.

In the final match of the tournament, UNCG also fashioned a sweep of the Seahawks.

The first two sets went to the Spartans by identical scores of 25-23 before ending the match with a 25-18 win in the third set.

The Seahawks open Colonial Athletic Association play next weekend with two matches at defending champion Towson beginning on Sept. 25 at 2 p.m.
