WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The UNCW men's soccer team begins a quick two-game homestand on Tuesday, Sept. 14, when the Seahawks welcome in-state foe Charlotte to the UNCW Soccer Stadium for a 7 p.m. non-conference tilt.

Now 3-1-0 overall and 0-1-0 in the Colonial Athletic Association, the Seahawks saw their three-game win streak come to an end on Saturday with a 2-0 setback at Drexel. The Dragons used a pair of second half goals to outlast the Seahawks in the league opener for both teams.

Charlotte, which carries a 2-2-0 record into Tuesday's contest, had its brief two-game win streak halted on Friday night with a 2-0 setback against VCU at Transamerica Field. Both of the 49ers' losses have been in shutout fashion, while Charlotte has tallied three goals in each of its wins.

Series Business – UNCW and Charlotte meet for the 19th time in a series that dates back to the 1979 season. The 49ers hold a slim 8-7-3 lead in the series, but the Seahawks have won back-to-back installments after a 10-game winless streak.
