HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – UNCW's Katie Lanz held team-high honors with 10 kills and Sarah Blakely added nine, but the Seahawks fell at Hofstra in four sets on Saturday at the Mack Physical Education Center.

The Pride pushed its record to 12-10 overall and 6-5 in the Colonial Athletic Association while the Seahawks slipped to 3-19 and 2-9. The match featured 26 tied scores and 15 lead changes.

Hofstra got in front early by winning the first set, 25-13. UNCW answered with a 25-23 win in the second set and the Pride regained the lead with a 25-19 win in the third.

In the fourth and final set, UNCW held a 22-19 lead following a kill from Lanz and had set point at 24-22. HU, however, scored the next two points to draw even at 24-all.
