Delaware Finishes Off Sweep

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Led by Lani Mason's 17kills, Delaware finished off a two-match Colonial Athletic Association sweep of host UNCW on Sunday with a 3-0 sweep at Hanover Hall.

The Blue Hens ran their record to 8-9 overall and 3-5 in the CAA. The Seahawks saw their marks slide to 2-15 and 1-5.

Grace Underwood and Lauryn Richardson added seven kills apiece for the Blue Hens, who finished with a .329 hitting average.

Sarah Blakely finished with nine kills to lead UNCW.

The Seahawks visit Elon on Oct. 16-17 for a pair of conference matches.
