Volleyball Falls In Three

HARRISONBURG, Va. – Led by 10 kills apiece from Danielle Nathan and M'Kaela White, James Madison rolled past UNCW in a sweep (25-17, 25-15,25-) in the Colonial Athletic Association opener for both teams on Thursday at Sinclair Gymnasium.

The Dukes (7-4, 1-0 CAA) won their third straight while the Seahawks (10-4, 0-1) dropped to 1-3 on the road.

Brynn Montgomery and Jaime Thomas led UNCW with five kills each.

Anna Weissmann had 13 digs to lead the Seahawks.

The Seahawks close out their opening road week in the CAA on Saturday with a 5 p.m. start at Delaware.
