CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Dylan Enwiller's homer with two out in the bottom of the ninth lifted fifth-ranked North Carolina to a 4-3 win over visiting UNCW on Tuesday at Boshamer Stadium.
The Tar Heels ran their record to 8-0 with the win while the Seahawks fell to 4-5.
Dylan Harris paced the UNC lineup with two hits.
Doug Angeli collected three hits and had a pair of RBI singles that gave the Seahawks leads.
Riley Zayicek had two hits, including his first home run of the season that gave UNCW a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning.
Austin Love (3-0) was credited with the win for the Tar Heels.
Henry Ryan (2-1) took the loss for the Seahawks.
Up Next: The Seahawks open a nine-game homestand on Friday with a 4 p.m. start against Valparaiso.
How it happened: After two quick outs in the bottom of the ninth, Enwiller worked a full count and then belted Ryan's next offering over the wall in left for the win.
