Thao My Nguyen finished in sixth place as UNCW earned a share of eighth place during the final day of competition at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational on Sunday afternoon.

The Seahawks, who were playing in their first tournament of the spring season, finished in a tie with East Tennessee State with identical 919 team scores. Vanderbilt earned the team title after posting a 12-shot advantage over host Mercer.

Nguyen authored her seventh career top 10 finish after completing the tournament at four-over par. Sophomore
Rachael Mast followed in a tie for 37th place at 15-over par while freshman
Phu Khine and senior
Ellinoora Moisio earned a share of 54th place at 19-over par.

Freshman Madison Issacson completed the Seahawks' efforts by finishing in a tie for 68th place.
