TOWSON, Maryland – The UNCW men's basketball team puts the finishing touches on its inaugural Colonial Athletic Association road trip early Saturday with appearance No. 6 at Towson's SECU Arena.

UNCW (5-10, 1-1) and Towson (5-10, 1-2) collide in a 2 p.m. tip-off inside the 5200-seat facility outside Baltimore. The two teams play again in 26 days (Jan. 31) at Trask Coliseum in Wilmington.

The resilient Seahawks are coming off a scintillating 86-83 double overtime victory at James Madison on Thursday night in a game that saw C.B. McGrath's club storm back from late deficits in regulation and both overtime periods.

Redshirt junior forward Jeantal Cylla poured in a career-high 24 points to lead the way in the scoring column, while senior forward Devontae Cacok recorded his CAA-leading ninth double-double of the season with 18 points and 19 rebounds. It was Cacok's second straight game with 19 boards and moved him into No. 2 on the school's rebounding list.

Cacok was voted the CAA's "Player of the Night" by fans following his performance at JMU. The Riverdale, Ga., product ranks fifth in the NCAA in rebounds per game (11.7) and is tied for fourth with nine double-doubles.

In addition, freshman playmaker Kai Toews scored 12 points for the second straight game and became UNCW's new freshman assist leader with nine helpers, raising his season total to 114 dimes in 2018-19. Toews ranks fourth among all NCAA Division I players with 7.6 assists each outing.

In their last outing, the Tigers dropped their second straight game via a 67-55 verdict on Thursday to Charleston at SECU Arena. The All-CAA tandem of Grant Riller and Jarrell Brantley scored 24 and 23 points for Charleston, which shot 52 percent in the second half and led by double digits most of the final period. Senior guard Jordan McNeil scored a season-high 14 points and junior forward Brian Fobbs chipped in 13 points for the Tigers, who fell in their CAA home opener.
