Morgan Nanni scored the game's only goal in the 65th minute as UNCW ran its winning streak to four straight games with a 1-0 victory over Coastal Carolina in non-conference women's soccer action at the CCU Soccer Stadium on Thursday evening.
The Seahawks, who earned their second straight shutout, improved to 6-1-0 on the season. Coastal Carolina, meanwhile, fell to 1-3-1 after suffering its third loss in a row.
Nanni gave the Seahawks a 1-0 advantage with 26:00 remaining when she scored her fourth goal of the season past sophomore goalkeeper Rylee Atteberry.

Caitie Broderick played the first half for the Seahawks and did not record a save. Sophomore
Sydney Schneider tallied two saves in the second half as UNCW limited the Chanticleers to just six shots.
Atteberry made six saves in the loss for Coastal Carolina.
