WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The No. 13 UNCW men's soccer team continues its journey through the Colonial Athletic Association schedule on Wednesday night when the Seahawks visit Elon for a 7 p.m. contest against the Phoenix at Rudd Field.
The Seahawks, one of two teams unbeaten in CAA play, bring an 8-2-1 overall record and 3-0-1 league mark into Wednesday's contest after rallying for a 2-1 victory over Drexel on Saturday afternoon. Elon, 3-6-1 overall and 0-3-1 against league foes, is in search of its first CAA victory after a 1-0 home setback against Delaware last Wednesday.

- UNCW continues to lead the CAA in goals scored (23) and goals allowed (7). In addition, the Seahawks are at the top of the CAA ranks with 24 assists and 70 points.
- Sophomore Emil Elveroth moved into a tie for the CAA lead with his seventh goal of the season in Saturday's win over Drexel. The Halmstad, Sweden, product paces the nine-team circuit with 17 points through 11 games.
- Redshirt senior Ryan Cretens is the CAA leader with a 0.64 goals against average and .833 save percentage.
- The Seahawks have outscored their opponents by a 16-2 margin in the second half.
- Wednesday's contest marks the 11th all-time meeting between UNCW and Elon. The Phoenix leads the series by a 5-3-2 margin, but the Seahawks claimed a 2-1 victory in last year's encounter at UNCW Soccer Stadium.
