WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Nationally-ranked UNCW will play its final non-conference men's soccer game of the regular season on Wednesday night as the Seahawks welcome regional rival Coastal Carolina to UNCW Soccer Stadium for a 7 p.m. contest.
The Seahawks, who are ranked No. 10 in this week's United Soccer Coaches poll, are 11-2-2 on the season after battling Delaware to a 2-2 Colonial Athletic Association draw on Saturday night. The Chanticleers, 7-4-0 on the season, have won three of their last four encounters following a 2-1 victory at Howard on Saturday.

- UNCW has scored 35 goals in 15 games this season, equaling the 1999, 1993 and 1979 squads for 10th place on the program's single-season list.
- The Seahawks, who lead the CAA in scoring, have tallied 105 points this season. It is the ninth time UNCW has authored a 100-point season in program history and the first time since 2005.
- Sophomore Emil Elveroth and junior Phillip Goodrum are the first UNCW tandem to score 10 or more goals in the same season since 1993 when Bucky Corban and Joel Myers each netted 12 goals.
- Yazeed Matthews leads the Chanticleers in scoring with seven goals and three assists.
- Wednesday's contest marks the 20th all-time meeting between the Seahawks and the Chanticleers. The series is tied at 9-9-1, but the Seahawks are 4-1-1 in the last six installments.
