WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The No. 15 UNCW men's soccer team returns home for a two-game homestand this week as the Seahawks welcome Elon and VCU to UNCW Soccer Stadium.

The Seahawks, who begin the week with a 6-1-0 overall record and a 2-0-0 mark in the Colonial Athletic Association, welcome the unbeaten Phoenix (3-0-5) to the Port City on Wednesday, Sept. 27, for a 7 p.m. kickoff before facing former CAA foe VCU on Saturday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m.

- UNCW is off to its best start through seven games since 2002. It is the fifth time in program history the Seahawks have fashioned a 6-1-0 record through seven games.
- Elon, which carries a 3-0-5 record into Wednesday's league encounter, is tied with Eastern Illinois for the most ties in NCAA Division I men's soccer.
- Sophomore Phillip Goodrum, who earned the CAA Co-Player-of-the-Week award on Monday, was also named to the National Team-of-the-Week by College Soccer News and Top Drawer Soccer.
- The Seahawks will be facing VCU for the first time since 2011. The Rams hold an 11-6-3 record in the all-time series.
- UNCW begins the week as the CAA co-leader with 12 goals and 35 points.
