Volleyball Falls At Charleston, 3-0

CHARLESTON, South Carolina – UNCW's Madison Peters had a match-high nine kills, but first-place College of Charleston swept visiting UNCW 3-0 (25-16, 25-13, 25-21) in Colonial Athletic Association volleyball action on Saturday at TD Arena.

The Cougars ran their record to 22-4 overall and 11-1 in the league while the Seahawks dropped to 8-16 and 2-10.

Freshman Brynn Montgomery led UNCW with 25 assists and junior Katie McCullough had 16 digs.

CofC hit .252 on the match led by Jane Feddersen and Lauren Feed with eight kills apiece.

McKala Rhodes held match-high honors with 17 digs as the Cougars posted a 54-43 advantage in digs.

UNCW closes out its road slate next weekend beginning with a match at Delaware on Nov. 2.
