WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Playing in the final home game of her college career, UNCW senior guard
Shatia Cole scored a game-high 18 points, but visiting Delaware spoiled the Senior Day festivities by earning a 56-44 Colonial Athletic Association victory over the Seahawks at Trask Coliseum on Sunday afternoon.

The win upped the Blue Hens' record to 15-13 overall and 10-7 in the CAA. Meanwhile, the Seahawks dropped to 7-21 overall and 3-14 in league play after suffering their sixth straight loss.

Cole, who was honored in a pre-game ceremony, made 9 of 20 shots from the floor and added four rebounds, three assists and three steals. She was the lone UNCW player to score in double figures.

Courtni Green led five Delaware players in double figures with 12 points while freshman forward
Nicole Enabosi added a double-double with 10 points and a season-high 14 rebounds off the bench.

Erika Brown notched 10 points with a season-high seven rebounds for the Blue Hens, including the 1,000th of her college career. She became the 26th player in UD history to reach the milestone with a jumper with 7:10 left in the second quarter.

How It Happened: Delaware overcame a 12-10 deficit late in the first quarter by going on a 16-2 run over an eight-minute span to claim a 26-14 advantage the Blue Hens did not relinquish. Enabosi scored 6 of her 10 points during the run. Â
