Peyton Jordan combined to throw a one-hit shutout as UNCW extended its win streak to five consecutive games with a 4-0 victory over Delaware State at the Lafayette Ford Lincoln of Fayetteville Showcase at Boseman Field on Sunday afternoon.
The Seahawks, who posted their third shutout of the weekend, improved to 7-2 on the season while Delaware State fell to 2-3.
Lenderman upped her record to 3-0 on the season after allowing just one hit in 5.0 innings while posting a pair of strikeouts. Jordan completed the shutout by not allowing a hit in the final two frames with a strikeout.

Kali Jones paced the Seahawks' eight-hit attack by going 3-for-4 with a run scored and two stolen bases while junior outfielder
Merritt Wilkinson added two hits with a run batted in.
How It Happened: The Seahawks scored twice in the first and fourth innings en route to the victory. Meanwhile, Lenderman retired the first 12 hitters she faced before allowing a double to lead off the fifth inning.
