UNCW Notes
The Seahawks, who hold a 6-2-1 overall record and a 1-0-1 mark in the CAA, have been idle since dropping a 1-0 decision at No. 4 North Carolina last Tuesday night. UNCW had its game against James Madison, which was slated for Saturday night, postponed due to Hurricane Matthew.
Junior forward
Julio Moncada leads the Seahawks with five goals and two assists while junior forward
Stian Sandbekkhaug has also contributed five goals.
Just like the Seahawks, the Cougars also had their most recent game postponed on Saturday night as they were scheduled to host Drexel. Charleston, which will be playing for the first time since Oct. 1, brings a 3-5-1 overall record into Wednesday's contest with a 1-1-1 league mark.
Senior defender
Joseph Terry and senior forward
Nico Rittmayer have each tallied two goals for the Cougars while senior goalkeeper
Kevin Shields has played every minute this season and boasts a 1.61 goals against average with a .750 save percentage.
UNCW holds a 7-5-1 advantage in the all-time series, but will be looking to avenge a 1-0 loss in last year's meeting in Wilmington.
