WILMINGTON, North Carolina - After posting a 1-0-1 record in their first two contests of the regular season, the Seahawks come back home this weekend to welcome North Florida, Elon and Campbell to the UNCW Soccer Stadium for the 2015 UNCW Courtyard by Marriott Wrightsville Beach Classic. Elon and Campbell will kick off the tournament on Friday at 5 p.m. before the Seahawks face North Florida at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday afternoon, Elon will take on North Florida while the Seahawks finish the tournament by hosting Campbell at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets: Tickets, which are priced at $7 for adults and $2 for kids 15 years old and under, are available for each day's matches by calling the UNCW Ticket Office at 1-800-808-UNCW or by visiting the Tickets page at UNCWSports.com. In addition, tickets can also be purchased at UNCW Soccer Stadium on the day of the game with the ticket office opening one hour prior to the first game.

• Senior forwards Colin Bonner and Nathaniel Goodwin teamed up to score both goals as the Seahawks edged UNCG by a 2-1 margin on Monday night for their first win of the season (recap | stats). Bonner gave UNCW a 1-0 lead in the third minute when he scored off a crossing pass from Goodwin. In the 53rd minute, Goodwin returned the favor by scoring off a rebound of a shot by Bonner.
• UNCW opened its season last Friday night by earning a 0-0 double overtime draw against High Point in front of a crowd of 1,421 fans at UNCW Soccer Stadium (recap | stats). The Seahawks limited High Point to just four shots in the contest, including no attempts during either of the overtime periods. Junior goalkeeper Sean Melvin made one save en route to the eighth shutout of his college career.
• The Seahawks had an impressive exhibition season with a pair of victories over Big South Conference opponents. After edging No. 21 Coastal Carolina by a 2-1 margin on Saturday, Aug. 15 (recap), UNCW posted a 3-2 victory at Winthrop in its exhibition finale on Sunday afternoon (recap | stats).

• The Ospreys split their first two matches of the season last weekend as part of the Mike Gibbs Memorial Tournament at Hodges Stadium. After defeating Appalachian State by a 3-2 margin in double overtime in the season opener, North Florida dropped a tough 2-1 decision against Georgia State in the tournament finale.
• North Florida used three goals in the first half to earn the victory over the Mountaineers on Friday night as senior forward Alex Morrell tallied a goal with an assist in the victory.
• Morrell is one of four players who has scored a goal for the Ospreys this year and one of three players with an assist. Goalkeeper Kyle Nasta has started both contests for North Florida, posting a 2.00 goals against average with a .636 save percentage.
• UNF Coach Derek Marinatos is in his fifth season as the Ospreys' leader. He has led North Florida to a berth in the Atlantic Sun Conference title game in each of the last two years.


UNCW vs. North Florida Series History

• Friday's game against the Ospreys will mark the first-ever regular season meeting between UNCW and North Florida in men's soccer.
• The teams played in an exhibition match during the 2011 season which the Seahawks won by a 3-0 margin, including a goal by Daniel Roberts from beyond midfield.

• The Camels will be trying to earn their first win of the 2015 campaign when they face Elon in the tournament opener on Friday night. Campbell is coming off a 2-1 loss against Davidson last Friday night at Alumni Stadium.
• Sophomore Bradley Farias tallied the lone goal for the Camels in the contest, giving Campbell a 1-0 lead with a marker in the 42nd minute. Sophomore goalkeeper Matthew Mozynski made one save for the Camels in the loss.
• The Camels split a pair of preseason contests, beating NC State by a 2-1 margin before dropping a 2-0 verdict at No. 11 Clemson. Campbell returns players who scored all but two goals last year. Farias led the team a season ago with nine goals, helping him to earn Big South Conference Freshman of the Year notice.
• Coach Dustin Fonder is in his first season at Campbell after spending eight years as the head coach at High Point. During his time with the Panthers, he posted a record of 78-63-18 (.547).


UNCW vs. Campbell Series History

• Sunday's contest between the Seahawks and the Camels will mark the 50th all-time meeting in a series which dates back to the 1966 season. Campbell leads the all-time series by a 26-21-2 margin, but the Seahawks have posted a 3-2-1 mark in the last six encounters.
Last Meeting: The Seahawks used a goal by Colin Bonner in the 69th minute to earn a 1-0 victory over the 25th-ranked Camels in last year's meeting at the Eakes Athletic Complex (recap | stats). Bonner scored on a header off a throw-in from Jacob VanCompernolle. The Seahawks outshot Campbell by a 16-4 margin in the contest, including a 12-1 edge in the first half.

Heaney Approaching UNCW Career Wins Record

• Entering this weekend, UNCW Coach Aidan Heaney needs just six wins to become the Seahawks' all-time leader. In his first 14-plus years at the helm, Heaney has posted a 125-117-17 record and has been named as the Colonial Athletic Association's Coach of the Year four times.
Calvin Lane holds the UNCW career wins record after posting 129 victories during a 15-year career spanning from 1971-85.

Trio Named to Preseason All-CAA Team; Seahawks Picked to Finish Second

• Senior forward Colin Bonner and junior goalkeeper Sean Melvin were named to the 2015 Preseason All-Colonial Athletic Association Men's Soccer Team in a vote of the league's head coaches. In addition, sophomore defender Brayden Smith received honorable mention notice on the team.
• A starter in all 20 matches last year, Bonner was the Seahawks' second-leading scorer after tallying four goals with four assists. He earned first team All-CAA notice as a junior and was named to the NSCAA All-Midwest Region second team. In three seasons with the Seahawks, Bonner has scored 16 goals with 9 assists while starting 53 of 56 contests.
• Melvin earned Preseason All-CAA accolades after a solid sophomore season. He started 14 contests and posted a 0.95 goals against average after allowing just 14 goals in 1,332 minutes. In addition, he was tied for fifth in the CAA after posting five shutouts despite missing six matches due to an injury. In two years at UNCW, he has recorded seven shutouts with a 1.30 goals against average.
• Smith started 14 of 16 contests last year for the Seahawks and earned a spot on the CAA All-Rookie Team. He tallied the first goal of his college career in the Seahawks' 2-0 victory over Hofstra and also contributed an assists in wins over South Carolina and Duke.
• The Seahawks, who earned a share of the CAA regular season title last year, were picked to finish second in the league's predicted order of finish. Delaware, which also shared the crown with UNCW, was tabbed as the preseason favorite.

• The Seahawks will remain at home to finish their three-game homestand next Saturday by welcoming South Carolina to the UNCW Soccer Stadium. Opening kick-off between the Seahawks and the Gamecocks is slated for 7 p.m.
