Q: Take us through your pre-match mental preparation routine.
I take time focusing and visualizing how I want to play in the match. I also study the scouting report, so I know what I am going to do against the other team. I think all positive thoughts, say a few prayers and am good to go!

Q: Do you belong to any other clubs, groups or organizations?
I am a member of SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee). I also studied abroad in Spain my freshman year.

We volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, do several volleyball clinics for middle school girls, help out with the Boys and Girls Club, and we have chopped wood for the homeless so they can heat their homes

My declared major is Public Health with a minor in Spanish. I chose this major because I want to go to graduate school for Occupational Therapy.

Q: Favorite team tradition/activity and why?
My favorite team tradition is dancing to the song "Pursuit of Happiness" before each game because it gets us so hype!!

My favorite type of food is definitely Mexican all the way, but my favorite meal is steak, a twice-baked potato and asparagus.

Q: Favorite place you have visited or traveled to and why?
Nicaragua has been the favorite place after traveling there on my first mission trop. It changed my life forever. We were able to teach kids how to play volleyball and built them their own grass court. It was the most amazing trip!

Probably Mother Theresa because she had such a positive impact on the world and I would want to know how she did it all!

Softball was my main sport for most of my life until my sophomore year of high school.
