Katrina Guillou (Bishop Ireton H.S./Fort Washington, Md.) of the UNCW women's soccer team has been named as a second team selection on the 2014 North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association All-State Team, it has been announced by NCCSIA officials.
Guillou, who earned second team All-Colonial Athletic Association notice, started all 18 matches for the Seahawks and was the team's leading scorer with 18 points, which ranked sixth in the CAA. She also ranked fourth in the CAA with eight goals while her three game-winning goals were tied for second in the CAA.
A two-time selection to the NCCSIA All-State Team, Guillou has played in 57 career matches and has scored 19 goals with nine assists.
Led by Guillou, the Seahawks finished the season with a 7-9-2 record, including a 2-6-1 mark in the CAA.
Founded in 2002, the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) is comprised of sports information professionals from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA and independent institutions from the state of North Carolina. The purpose of the organization is to promote collegiate athletics at all schools. Membership is open to anyone affiliated with a college, university or conference located in North Carolina, and whose area of responsibility lies within sports information.
NCCSSIA selects all-state teams in the University (Division I) and College (Division II, III, NAIA) divisions for men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, volleyball, softball and baseball.
