Riley Nance joined the UNCW Athletics Creative and Communication team in September of 2024 full-time after working in a temporary role in 2023-24.
Born in Monroe, N.C., Nance graduated from UNCW in 2023 with a degree in Communication Studies, and a minor in Business.
During 2021-2023, he worked as a student for the Athletic Communications broadcast team where he developed his love for video production. During that time, he learned how to run cameras, replay, graphics, direct, and produce.
As a student, Nance had the opportunity to further develop his skills with different production companies. He worked alongside CBS for men’s basketball, the CAA for the 2021 and 2024 CAA Baseball Championships, and the Harlem Globetrotters.
In his spare time, Nance enjoys watching the Panthers, Hornets, and college sports. He also enjoys playing basketball with his friends and surfing.
