Bewick joins UNCW as an Assistant Volleyball Coach with a strong background in collegiate coaching and a decorated playing career at the NCAA level.
Most recently, Bewick served as the Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator at Davidson College during the Fall 2024 season, where she helped lead the program to its first-ever Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament semifinal appearance. Under her guidance, the Wildcats earned multiple individual honors, including Libero of the Year, First Team All-Conference, All-Rookie Team, Academic All-District, and a series of weekly conference awards.
Prior to her time at Davidson, Bewick spent two seasons at Lehigh University in the Patriot League. During the 2022 and 2023 campaigns, she contributed to back-to-back AVCA Team Academic Awards and played a key role in the development of several standout athletes who earned First and Second Team All-Conference honors, Academic All-District recognition, and weekly conference accolades. Two of her athletes also represented the United States in international competition at the Global Challenge.
As a student-athlete, Bewick was a standout libero at Lenoir-Rhyne University. In her senior season (Fall 2021), she earned All-American Honorable Mention honors and was named AVCA National Player of the Week. She set the program record for most digs in a single match (42) and helped lead the team to a South Atlantic Conference Championship and an NCAA Sweet 16 appearance. She was also named First Team All-Region, First Team All-State Libero (NC), First Team All-Conference, and earned three Defensive Player of the Week honors. Bewick finished her career ranked second all-time in digs per season and digs per set, and eighth in total digs at Lenoir-Rhyne.
With experience across multiple Division I conferences and a proven track record of player development and team success, Bewick brings a high level of expertise and energy to the UNCW volleyball program.
