Cameron Clark joined the UNCW Sports Performance staff in early 2024 where her expertise benefits the athletic programs at UNCW, where she is directly responsible for women’s soccer, track & field, men’s and women’s golf, and men’s tennis teams.
A native of North Carolina, exudes a fervent dedication to athletic and performance enhancement. During her undergraduate years, Cameron showcased her athletic prowess on the basketball court at Catawba College while pursuing a degree in Sport Management.Â
Post-graduation, she embarked on a journey of further education and professional growth, securing a graduate assistant position in strength and conditioning at Nova Southeastern University as she pursued her Master's degree in Athletic Administration. At NSU, Cameron left an indelible mark, crafting and executing performance programs tailored to a myriad of sports teams, including women’s basketball, women’s soccer, men’s and women’s golf, rowing, cross country, and Track & Field.Â
Her tenure at NSU was marked by outstanding achievements, contributing to two elite 8 appearances with the women's basketball team and witnessing four National Championships with the golf program. In 2016, Cameron assumed the role of Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at the University of North Carolina Asheville, where she meticulously designed and implemented performance regimens for 14 Division 1 sports teams, guiding approximately 280 athletes annually.Â
In 2021, Cameron transitioned to NC State, embracing an assistant strength and coaching role with the Women’s Soccer and Track & Field programs. At NC State, she served as the liaison for the integration of Sparta Science force plate testing and programming implementation.
