Prep Career: Competed for Oakwood Soccer Club (Glastonbury, Connecticut) as a midfielder and a defender under coach Kevin Bacher on the U.S. Soccer Development Academy (USSDA)...represented Oakwood in the USSDA Boys Development Academy Cup...co-led the club to the Northeast division title during the Fall Group Stage...advanced with Oakwood to the Winter Cup...served as club captain during his final campaign...led Oakwood in matches started at 29...member of the National Honors Society at RHAM High School (Hebron, Connecticut). 

Personal: Son of Duane and Trisha Sauer...has two siblings, Jake and Maddy... his father Duane, played club lacrosse at New Haven (1983-86) and Connecticut (1987)...his mother, Trisha, played women’s soccer at Oswego State (1990, 1991)...Majoring in Business and interested pursuing the co-op program.
