2016 Season: Saw action in 13 games as a senior, including start against Elon on Senior Day ... played primarily in outfield along with being a pinch hitter and pinch runner ... tallied one hit in three at-bats ... scored three runs.

Conley ... earned All-District distinction during her prep career ... helped Vikings capture 2011 NCHSAA Class 3A State Championship, pacing squad to 26-5 overall record and 14-0 mark in Coastal 3A Conference play ... batted .556 during junior season.

Personal: Full Name: Taylor Anne Matkins ... born in Greenville, N.C. ... daughter of Telita and Alan Matkins ... organized fundraiser game called Strikeout Cancer during senior season of high school and raised $1700 for the American Cancer Society.
