Brittany Robinson, the former head coach at SUNY New Paltz, is in her second season as a member of the UNCW softball coaching staff.
Robinson posted a 47-59 record in three seasons as the Hawks’ coach, including an 18-19 record last year and a berth in the SUNYAC Tournament. She also had four student-athletes earn all-conference honors during her tenure.
Prior to being at SUNY New Paltz, Robinson served as an assistant coach with the Wil Devils Softball Club, a member of the Semi-Pro National Softball League in Switzerland. She also served as the head softball coach at Northern Vance High School in Henderson, N.C., from 2011-13.
A 2011 graduate of the University of North Carolina, Robinson was a four-year letter winner for the Tar Heels who played in 179 career games. She tallied 19 doubles with 14 home runs in her career while guiding UNC to a 173-66-1 record with three NCAA Tournament appearances.
