George Greenleaf enters his third year as UNCW Assistant Diving Coach after retiring from Dell Technologies in 2020, where he was a Field Chief Technology Officer.
During the 2022-23 season, George stepped into the interim diving coach role. He was honored by the league's coaches as the Men's Diving Coach of the Year after the Seahawk Divers impressive finishes in all Diving events.
George attended Southern Illinois on a diving scholarship, where he consistently scored for the Salukis in Conference championships and qualified for the Division I NCAA championships.
After graduating in 1982, he returned home to McLean, Va. to coach at the Montgomery Dive Club, where he coached national and international level divers until 1987.
