Graham Joseph returned to his alma mater in 2017 as an assistant athletic trainer and provides athletic training coverage for the UNCW men’s soccer and men’s tennis programs. He also serves as a preceptor for the Athletic Training Education Program and serves as an instructor in the School of Health and Applied Human Services and University College.
Joseph, a native of Reading, England, earned his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from UNCW in 2013. He remained in the Port City during the 2013-14 academic year, providing athletic training coverage for UNCW men’s soccer program.
Joseph completed his Master’s degree in Kinesiology and Sport Studies from East Tennessee State University in 2016 and worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the ETSU football program. After graduation, he went to Elon University where he provided care for the men’s soccer and women’s lacrosse programs.
A board-certified and North Carolina Licensed Athletic Trainer, Joseph is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the NSCA.
Joseph lives in Wilmington with his wife, Mikaela, who is also a member of the UNCW athletic training staff.
