Nick enters his first season on the staff following a three-year career in the San Diego Padres organization. He was a 19th-round selection of the Padres following three seasons with the Seahawks.
 
As a sophomore with the Seahawks, Feight fashioned one of the greatest seasons in Seahawk history, earning six All-America honors after helping the Seahawks to a 41-19 record and the Columbia Regional. Nick hit .349 that season, tied the school-record for home runs in a season with 21 and drove in a school-record 91 runs. He added 24 doubles, which also tied UNCW’s single-season record, set by Matt Poulk in 2004. Following that season, Feight was honored as the Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year and was a first-team All-CAA selection by the coaches.
 
Feight played three seasons for the Padres, beginning in 2017 where he played in the Arizona League. He was promoted to Fort Wayne in the Midwest League, where he spent  2019 and 2019 before retiring and returning to UNCW.
