    Volunteer Assistant Coach
Jordan Phillips completed his third season as a member of the UNCW men’s soccer staff in 2021.

After serving as a volunteer assistant coach in 2019, Phillips moved into the role of Volunteer Video Coordinator for the 2020-21 season before returning as a volunteer assistant coach in 2021. 

In 2019, Phillips was a member of the coaching staff that led the Seahawks to a 12-5-2 record, including a 7-0-1 mark in the Colonial Athletic Association. The Seahawks secured the program’s fourth CAA regular season title and reached the final of the CAA Championship.

A trio of UNCW players – Phillip Goodrum, Danny Reynolds and Mark Lindstrom – also began their professional careers following the season. Goodrum and Reynolds were selected in the Major League Soccer SuperDraft by Atlanta and Seattle, respectively, while Lindstrom signed with Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC of the United Soccer League.

In addition to his duties with the Seahawks, Phillips serves as the Boys ECNL Director for the Wilmington Hammerheads. He guided the Hammerheads Boys ECNL Program to its first-ever appearance in the ECNL SuperCup, which features the top 32 boys ECNL programs in the country.

Phillips holds a USSF ‘A-Youth’ License and a NSCAA ‘Premier’ Diploma.
