The Student-Athlete Support Services staff added New York native Ryan Sinnott as an Academic Coordinator in June of 2022.
Sinnott attended high school in Commack, N.Y., and attended Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology in 2020. Sinnott completed his Master’s Degree in Higher Education at Syracuse in 2022.
In addition, Sinnott earned a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Intercollegiate Athletic Advising and Support.
During his undergraduate days at Marist, Sinnott was a goalkeeper on the men’s soccer team and served as president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for the Red Foxes. He was also a Student-Athlete Peer Mentor.
Sinnott worked as an intern in the Center for Enhanced Performance at the U.S. Military Academy in the spring of 2020, providing academic support for women’s lacrosse student-athletes at the institution. He also served as a graduate assistant in the Office of Community Standards at Syracuse from 2020-22 and adjudicated cases of student misconduct on campus.
In the summer of 2021, Sinnott was an intern in the Center for Student-Athlete Excellence at St. John’s, where he created professional development presentations for student-athletes.
Sinnott, an avid fan of the N.Y. Yankees, N.Y. Rangers, N.Y. Giants and Oklahoma City Thunder, also enjoys fishing and hiking.
