Ryan Heath joined the Seahawk men's basketball program as video coordinator in May of 2020.
Heath comes to the Seahawks after working five seasons at NC State, including as a graduate assistant last year for the Wolfpack. He aided Head Coach Kevin Keatts for the last three seasons in Raleigh with on-the-court workouts and edited game practice and game footage.
A graduate of Davie County High School in Mocksville, N.C., Heath worked as student manager at NC State from 2015-19 and served as head manager during the 2017-18 and 2018-19 campaigns.
"We're pleased to have Ryan join our staff," said Siddle. "I’ve worked with Ryan for three years and his work ethic is phenomenal. He’s a very talented young man who will contribute in many ways to the success of our program."
Heath’s responsibilities with the Seahawks will include filming and editing practices and games, preparing scouting edits for games, creating team and recruiting highlight films and coordinating film exchange.
“I’m thrilled about the opportunity to work for Coach Siddle and help get UNCW back to competing for championships,” said Heath. “I look forward to building relationships and making lifelong memories with the players, fans, alumni, and community members.”
Heath earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from NC State in May of 2019.
