      Ryan Mills became executive assistant for Director of Athletics Kelly Mehrtens in August of 2010.

      Mills grew up in Pittsboro, N.C., and attended Northwood High School and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise and Sports Science at UNC Chapel Hill in 2002.

      She was employed at the North Carolina High School Athletic Association briefly before moving to Greenville, N.C., in 2004.

      Mills worked with the East Carolina football program from 2005-09. She was the defensive administrative assistant during the 2005-07 seasons and served as Head Coach Skip Holtz's assistant in 2008 and 2009.

      She enjoys watching football, visiting the beach and playing with her three beautiful Papillons, Annabelle, Elsie and Genevieve.
