Biography

      Kenneth Jones joined the Seahawk staff in September of 2009 as a compliance coordinator in the athletic department.

      A native of Chicago who grew up in Brandon, Miss., Jones worked as a graduate assistant in compliance at the University of Arkansas prior to moving to Wilmington. He issued and reviewed National Letter of Intents, processed paperwork relating to prospective student-athletes and prepared a monthly newsletter for the Razorbacks’ athletic department.

      After completing his M.S. in Economics from Arkansas, Jones accepted his current post with the Seahawks. He performs many of the same duties at UNCW, including educating student-athletes, coaches and staff on NCAA rules and regulations.

      Jones, who earned his B.S. Degree in Agribusiness in May of 2006 from Alcorn State, enjoys playing basketball, tennis, bowling, flag football, and golf.
