Biography

      Julia Beer began her position as an administrative assistant in UNCW's athletic department on July 15, 2002. She assists with day to day operations in athletic facilities.
      The Rio de Janeiro native coordinates and processes insurance benefits for all of the student-athletes and performs other duties as assigned.

      Beer is a 1987 graduate of Florida International University, where she earned her B.A. Degree in International Relations and Latin American Studies.

      Beer and her husband, Christian, enjoy their pet bunnies, Rascal and Pudim, and parrots Curumin, Mel, and Nina.
