Biography

      Jessica Long began her post as an Academic Coordinator for UNCW’s student-athletes on Aug. 25, 2008.

      The Winston-Salem, N.C., native monitors the academic progress of the men’s golf, women’s golf, women’s cross country, women’s track and field, women’s soccer and women’s swimming and diving teams. She also oversees UNCW’s study hall for student-athletes, and is involved with the school’s CHAMPS/Life Skills program.

      Long previously worked as an athletics assistant in the Student-Athlete Services office at Wake Forest.

      Long earned her B.A. Degree in Communications from Wake Forest in 2005 and enjoys taking her Jack Russell Terrier, Cooper, on walks, watching college basketball, being outdoors, cooking and watching movies.
