Biography

      The care of UNCW's outdoor facilities rests in the capable hands of Greg Cooke, facilities operations manager.
      A native of Youngsville, N.C., Cooke worked for several campus groups as a student before completing his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Physical Education in May of 2006. During his time as an undergraduate, he worked at the Campus Recreation Center, assisted with intramural programs, helped Seahawk Sports Marketing, and spent time with Athletic Facilities.
      After serving as an intern with Athletic Facilities, he became a full-time employee on Aug. 29, 2007. He oversees all facility needs at Brooks Field, the UNCW Soccer Stadium, Boseman Field, the UNCW Tennis Complex, and the Harold Greene Track & Field Complex.
      To relax, Cooke enjoys playing basketball and football, the beach and spending time with his friends and family.
