Biography

     Carol Stevens has been a member of UNCW’s athletic department since 1997 and has served as an administrative assistant in the men’s basketball office since February of 2001.

     Stevens handles all secretarial duties for the coaching staff. She answers and directs all telephone calls, works with all areas of correspondence, assists with camp operations and helps with recruiting endeavors, campus visits and team travel.

     A native of Madison, Conn., Stevens joined the Seahawks after two years as Coordinator of the Defensive Driving Program at Cape Fear Community College.

     John Stevens, RN, Carol’s husband, is Clinical Manager at Elderhaus-Pace and also teaches anatomy and physiology in Continuing Education at Cape Fear Community College.
     Rob Stevens, Carol’s son,  is currently employed as assistant men’s and women’s tennis coach at Queens University of Charlotte and is also enrolled in the master’s program at McColl School of Business at Queens University of Charlotte.

    Stevens is a 1973 graduate of Briarwood College.
