Mark Dominick enters his fifth season with the Seahawks after joining the staff in 2017-18, following a year at Ohio State, where he worked with the Buckeyes track and field and cross country programs.
In the summer of 2021, Mark was hired to serve as the athletic trainer for the Team USA Collegiate National Team (CNT). Dominick traveled with the Stars and Stripes as they did an East vs. West tour around the Appalachian League stadiums. The tour concluded with a three-game series between CNT and the USA Olympic baseball team ahead of their departure for the Tokyo Olympics.Â
While working in the OSU Athletic Training Department, Dominick traveled with the women’s crew program to the Henley Royal Regatta in June of 2017, as well as assisting with the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Championships.
Prior to working in Columbus, Dominick served as the baseball athletic trainer for two seasons at Eastern Kentucky while pursuing his master’s degree in sports administration. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training while attending Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn. While with the Bobcats, Dominick worked with the softball, men’s lacrosse and both ice hockey programs.
Dominick is a native of Cumberland, Maine, and serves as a preceptor for the Athletic Training program at UNCW. He also is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and the North Carolina Athletic Trainers Association.
