Maggie Tabone

Maggie Tabone joined the Student-Athlete Support Services (SASS) staff in February of 2022 as an Academic Coordinator.

Tabone provides academic support for the women's basketball, men’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country and men’s and women’s track and field teams. She also oversees the office’s tutor program.

Tabone earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Arts from Utica University in 2018 and completed her Master of Science Degree in Sport Administration from Canisius College in 2020.

Tabone was a member of the Utica women’s basketball team for four years and served as president of the school’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

During her undergraduate days, she worked in the Office of Admissions as a student ambassador and was involved in student government for four years.

A native of Rochester, N.Y., Tabone grew up in Chili, N.Y., and graduated from Churchville-Chili High School.

She began her professional career as an academic intern with the football team at the University of Minnesota from June, 2021, through February, 2022.  She also coached college basketball while obtaining her graduate degree.

Tabone enjoys watching sports, especially her favorite professional teams, the Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees.
