Prior to UNCW: Pitched at Coastal Carolina as a freshman, striking out three in 6.1 innings … Did not record a decision … Made collegiate debut in relief against Illinois … Also pitched against Texas, Clemson, South Alabama and Wake Forest … Pitched four seasons on the varsity at North Lincoln and coach Charlie Goss … Was a teammate of UNCW teammate Cason McInnis with the Knights … Earned third-team ABCA All-America honors in 2025 after going 9-0, sticking out 124 hitters and posting a 1.10 ERA … Also earned All-Region, All-State and Conference honors … Also earned All-Conference his junior and freshman seasons … Helped Knights to State title as a senior and a pair of conference titles … Concluded prep career with programs record of 26-4 record, 1.71 ERA and 326 strikeouts.
