At Southern Wayne: Three-year letterwinner for Saints and coach Trae McKee … Named Most Valuable Pitcher … Hit .300 his senior season … Helped Saints to ECC title and 21-10 record in 2012 … Graduated from same high school as UNCW associate head coach Randy Hood … Also played football and dove on the swimming team.
