2023 (Red-shirt junior): Selected by the New York Mets in the MLB Draft with the 336th pick overall in the 11th round ... Earned CAA All-Tournament honors ... Stepped into the closer role for the Seahawks and made a staff-high 30 appearances ... Went 1-3 with eight saves, tying for fifth all-time at UNCW in a season ... Was third in the CAA in saves ... Notched the save in the CAA Championship game against Northeastern (5/28) ... Struck out 44 in 38.1 innings ... Fanned a season-high six in 3.1 innings of relief against NC State (3/21) ... Held opponents to a .211 batting average which striking out 10.3 hitters per nine.
