ADA ACCOMMODATIONS: UNCW Athletics is committed to serving the needs of all guests.
- Parking - Located across from the main entrance near the UNCW Tennis Courts are ADA parking spots. Fans must show hold a handicap permit hangtag, license plate or some kind of documentation to park in the ADA spots.
- Seating - There are ADA platforms located at the bottom of sections 2, 3 & 4. Those sections are for one ADA patron and one companion.
- Restrooms - Restrooms are located at the main entrance and are ADA accessible.
- Sidewalks - There are handicap accessible sidewalks to the main entrance that lead all the way to the seating area.

ADDRESS: Boseman Field is located at 751 Hamilton Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403 on the campus of UNCW.
ADMISSION: Admission is free to all UNCW softball games at Boseman Field. Spectator limits or Pass list requirements may be in effect due to COVID-19.
ALCOHOL/TOBACCO: Alcohol, illegal drugs and tobacco products are strictly prohibited from entering all UNCW Athletic events. Alcohol will be sold inside of the stadium but is not permitted to leave Boseman Field once purchased. Individuals violating this policy are subject to ejection from the stadium.
ANIMALS: Animals are not permitted inside Boseman Field. Service animals are welcome.
ATM: There are no ATM’s located inside Boseman Field. General patrons can find ATM’s within the Fisher University Union. See campus map (
UNCW Campus Map) for the location of the Fisher University Union.
BABY CHANGING STATIONS: Baby changing stations are located within each restroom at the main entrance.
BAG POLICY: UNCW enforces the “Clear Bag” policy for all softball games. Fans are permitted to bring in ONE approved bag from the Clear Bag Policy (1 gallon clear Ziploc bag, Small purse/clutch 6.5”x4.5”, clear tote or logo clear tote bag 12”x6”x12”). Medical & diaper bags are permitted but will be searched and tagged upon entry. Diaper bags must be accompanied by a child. All working staff bags will be screened and tagged upon entry.

UNCW reserves the right to deny anyone or anything from entering the stadium. Any such item will need to be returned to the guest’s vehicle. UNCW is not responsible for any confiscated items.
For the safety of all in attendance, bags/items are not permitted to be left unattended outside of Boseman Field. Unattended bags/items found outside of the stadium will be dealt with in a manner deemed appropriate by stadium officials, including but not limited to disposal. UNCW is not responsible for loss of any unattended items
BIKE PARKING: Bike parking is available near the UNCW Tennis courts and Almkuist-Nixon Sports Medicine Building. You may also find additional bike parking near Hanover Hall. UNCW Athletics is not responsible for any lost or stolen bikes.
CAMERA POLICY: UNCW Athletics has a strict video and photography policy. Please see details below:
- No flash or still photography
- No video cameras or camcorders
- No cameras with lenses over three (3) inches
- Videotaping and photography may be granted to authorized personnel only.
CONDUCT: UNCW Athletics expects all fans to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times before, during, and after the competition. We expect all fans to treat other fans, players, coaches, and officials with courtesy and respect. Please join us in creating a fun, safe, family atmosphere at Boseman Field by not:
- Interfering with other guests’ ability to enjoy the game;
- Using/displaying foul or abusive language or gestures;
- Harassing athletes, coaches, officials, or spectators based on gender identity, gender expression, race, ethnicity, national origin, physical ability, sexual orientation, or religion
- Appearing to be impaired or in a diminished capacity;
- Failing to produce a ticket upon request or sitting in a seat that does not match your ticket;
- Entering the competition or restricted access areas;
- Smoking;
- Throwing objects onto the competition area or within the venue; or
- Otherwise, being disorderly.
Violators are subject to ejection and possible arrest. Guests should contact a stadium official if they feel someone is not acting appropriately.
CREDIT CARDS: UNCW concessions (when open for events) gladly accepts all forms of major credit cards for your convenience.
DIRECTIONS: Directions to Boseman Field are listed below.
- If Traveling To Wilmington via I-40: I-40 becomes US 132/S. College Road once the interstate ends. Continue traveling south on College Road approximately 3 miles. Turn left onto Randall Drive at the traffic light. You are now on the UNCW campus. Take your first right onto Wagoner Drive. When Wagoner Drive ends, turn left onto Hurst Drive. Turn left at the traffic light onto Hamilton Drive. Boseman Field is approximately ¼ mile on right.
- If Traveling To Wilmington via US 74/76: After crossing the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge, US 74/76 is also called Dawson Street. Continue on Dawson Street approximately 1.5 miles. Dawson Street (US 76E) will bear right and become Oleander Drive. Continue on Oleander Drive approximately 2.5 miles until it intersects with US 132N/College Road. Turn left onto College Road. Travel approximately 1 mile north, and then turn right onto Hurst Drive at the traffic light. You are now on the UNCW campus. Turn left at the traffic light onto Hamilton Drive. Boseman Field is approximately ¼ mile on right.
- If traveling From the North of Wilmington via US 17: US 17 becomes Market Street in Wilmington. Continue traveling south on Market Street. Go under the overpass at the junction of US 117S/132S, and immediately turn left at the traffic light onto South College Road. Continue traveling on College Road approximately 1 mile. Turn left onto Randall Drive at the traffic light. You are now on the UNCW campus. Take your first right onto Wagoner Drive. When Wagoner Drive ends, turn left onto Hurst Drive. Turn left at the traffic light onto Hamilton Drive. Boseman Field is approximately ¼ mile on right.
- If Traveling From Wilmington International Airport: As you exit the airport, turn left onto 23rd Street. Turn left onto Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway. Continue to the US 132/College Road intersection, and turn right onto College Road. Travel approximately 2 miles. Turn left onto Randall Drive at the traffic light. You are now on the UNCW campus. Take your first right onto Wagoner Drive. When Wagoner Drive ends, turn left onto Hurst Drive. Turn left at the traffic light onto Hamilton Drive. Boseman Field is approximately ¼ mile on right.
DUGOUTS: The home dugout is located on the third base side and the visiting dugout is located on the first base side.
EMERGENCIES: During any emergency inside Boseman Field follow the directions of the PA announcer, Event Staff and emergency responders.

ENTRY SCREENING: All people and/or items are subject to search. General patrons are subject to inspection for security purposes.

FILMING LOCATION: A small filming platform is located in center field. The filming platform is to be used by authorized media and team personnel only.
FIRST AID: If you are in need of first aid please contact an event staff member immediately so they may assist you.
FOUL BALLS: Foul balls are frequent inside and outside the confines of Boseman Field. Fans should be aware of foul balls at all times. UNCW is not responsible for any damaged vehicles by foul balls as patrons may park at their own risk.
GATES: Gates open 30 minutes prior to first pitch.

HEAT MANAGEMENT: In the circumstances of extreme heat conditions, there will be a cooling station located behind the seating area of Boseman Field that is available to all patrons.
INCLEMENT WEATHER: In the occurrence of inclement weather, we asks that fans listen to the PA announcements and follow all instructions by the event staff. We ask that fans exit the stadium in a calm organized fashion and seek shelter in their car (in the case of a minor storm) or escorted by an event staff member to the closest sheltered location (Trask Coliseum) in the case of a major storm.
LOST & FOUND: If you have lost an item during an event, please notify the closest event staff member. If you have lost an item and no available event staff member is available, please email
gameday@uncw.edu or call UNCW Facilities and Event Management at (910) 962-4245.
LOST CHILD: If a child or patron has been deemed lost by a guardian or fellow patron, they should report the situation to an event staff member as soon as possible.
MAIN ENTRANCE: The main entrance to Boseman Field is located off Hamilton Drive near the UNCW Soccer Stadium and the UNCW Tennis Courts. The main entrance contains men’s, women’s and family restrooms, concessions, merchandise sales and ticket sales.
MARKETING ITEMS: UNCW marketing items such as schedules, roster cards, magnets and other items may be found at the marketing tent located near the main entrance.
PARKING: Parking is regulated by UNCW parking officials at all times. Fans should look to park in the gravel lot between Boseman Field and the Greene Track & Field Facility. ADA parking is available near the main entrance and the UNCW Tennis Courts. For more information on monitored parking times, open lots and other parking information, please visit the

PERSONAL BELONGINGS: Please note that UNCW Athletics and UNCW are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.
PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOTAPING: Flash/still photography and filming of UNCW Athletics events is prohibited. Patrons who fail to obey this rule are subject to ejection.
PLAYER GUEST PASS LIST: The player/guest pass list is located at the main entrance at the ticket office.
PRESS BOX: The Boseman Field press box is centrally located in the middle of the seating area. The press box is to be used by authorized personnel only.
RECYCLING: Recycling bins are located at the main entrance and around Boseman Field for your convenience.
RE-ENTRY: Re-entry is permitted at Boseman Field for doubleheaders ONLY.
RESTROOMS: Men’s, women’s and family restrooms are located at the main entrance for your convenience.
SEATING: Seating for general patrons is located a short walk from the main entrance. All seating is general admission. Please only sit in marked seats to help with social distancing.
SEAHAWK DIGITAL NETWORK: The Seahawk Digital Network (SDN) is the official streaming service for all UNCW Athletics events. For the latest information on scheduled streaming events, please visit the UNCW Softball schedule page.
SIGNS/BANNERS: Signs and banners are permitted within Boseman Field if they are not on a pole or stick. Signs and banners must not contain any vulgar or inappropriate language or images. Signs deemed inappropriate by event personnel are subject to confiscation.
SKATEBOARDS/LONGBOARDS/HOVERBOARDS: Skateboards, longboards, hoverboards and other transportation items are not permitted inside Boseman Field.
SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted at any UNCW Athletics events. Smoking is permitted 25 feet outside of any UNCW campus building or facility.
