Greetings Seahawk Fans!

Your generous contributions paved the way for 41 student-athletes to earn their degree this year and be a part of the impressive UNCW Class of 2013. These deserving men and women are now equipped to begin their career and continue work in the community because you contributed and provided them with this opportunity. While these commendable student-athletes were walking across the Commencement stage in Trask Coliseum this past weekend, our men’s tennis team was playing in the NCAA Men’s Tennis Regional finale after upsetting 18th-ranked South Carolina in the first round. Lori Beth Adams of women’s golf was participating in the NCAA women’s golf tournament and the men’s golf team was preparing for its NCAA tournament journey that begins this week in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Another accomplishment during this memorable weekend occurred when the baseball team secured a bye for the first round of the CAA Tournament by winning its series against William and Mary. We thank each of you for your donations that allowed so many student-athletes to accomplish many goals they set out to achieve, especially this past weekend.
